The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has unveiled the much-anticipated timetable for the UPSC ESE Main Exam 2024, setting the stage for aspiring engineers to showcase their prowess.
Scheduled for June 23, 2024, the main examination will be held in two distinct shifts, each offering a platform for candidates to demonstrate their knowledge and skills.
In the first shift, from 9 am to 12 noon, candidates specializing in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering will face the Discipline Specific Paper (Paper-I), a conventional test lasting three hours and carrying a weightage of 300 marks.
Following a brief interlude, the second shift, spanning from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm, will present another opportunity for candidates to shine, with the Discipline Specific Paper (Paper-II) awaiting those same engineering disciplines.
For those who have successfully navigated through the preliminary examination, held on February 18, 2024, the path to the main examinations is now open. The declaration of the preliminary examination results on March 28, 2024, marked a crucial milestone in this journey.
As the countdown to the main examinations begins, candidates are advised to stay vigilant for the release of e-Admit Cards, accessible on the Commission's website approximately one week before the commencement of the Engineering Services (Main) Examination, 2024.
This recruitment endeavor aims to fulfill 167 positions within the organization, with the registration process having taken place from September 6 to September 26.
