The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced the results of the Civil Services Examination (CSE) Mains 2024 on Monday.
Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results on the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.
The mains examination was conducted on September 20, 21, 22, 28, and 29, 2024, in two shifts: 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon and 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
Candidates who have qualified in the written exam are eligible for the next stage — the personality test or interview.
The successful candidates will be required to submit their service preferences online through the Detailed Application Form-II (DAF-II) before the personality tests begin.

This is a mandatory step that allows the candidates to indicate their preferred services for allocation under the Civil Services Examination for the year.
“Dates of Personality Tests (Interviews) of these candidates will be notified in due course, which will be held in the Office of the Union Public Service Commission at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069, the official notification read.

This recruitment will fill 1,056 vacancies. Candidates are suggested to visit the UPSC official website for details on commencement of application February 14, 2024 and closed on March 5, 2024.
