SSC MTS, Havaldar Recruitment 2025: Apply for 1,075 vacancies by July 24

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification and opened the registration process for the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2025. Eligible and interested candidates may apply for the SSC MTS and Havaldar Examination 2025 through the official website, ssc.gov.in.

The Commission has announced 1,075 vacancies, all for the post of Havaldar. The number of vacancies for MTS posts is currently being compiled.

Candidates can submit their applications until 24 July. The last date for payment of the application fee is 25 July.

Applicants who complete their submissions within the deadline will be allowed to make corrections to their application forms between 29 and 31 July.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, applicants must have passed Class 10 or an equivalent examination on or before the cut-off date of 1 August 2025.

The Computer-Based Examination (CBE) for the SSC MTS and Havaldar posts is scheduled to take place from 20 September to 24 October.

Age Limit

Candidates aged between 18 and 25 years as on 1 August 2025 are eligible to apply for MTS posts. Those aged between 18 and 27 years can apply for the Havaldar post and certain MTS posts across various departments. Age relaxation is applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per rules.

Aplication Fee

The application fee for the SSC MTS and Havaldar Examination is Rs 100. However, women candidates and those belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from paying the fee.

The MTS selection process comprises only a Computer-Based Examination. For Havaldar posts, the process includes a CBE followed by a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST).

The CBE will be conducted in Hindi, English, and 13 regional languages: Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri (Metei or Meithei), Marathi, Odia (Oriya), Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
