The State Bank of India (SBI) has commenced the recruitment process for Circle Based Officer (CBO) posts, with a total of 2964 vacancies available across various circles. Eligible candidates can apply online via the official SBI website, link -  sbi.co.in. The online registration will remain open until May 29, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria 

Applicants must hold a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university, or possess an equivalent qualification acknowledged by the Central Government. This includes candidates with professional degrees such as Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountancy, and Cost Accountancy.

Furthermore, applicants must be proficient in reading, writing, and understanding at least one of the specified local languages relevant to the Circle for which they are applying.

Age Limit

Candidates must be aged between 21 and 30 years as of April 30, 2025, meaning they should have been born between May 1, 1995, and April 30, 2004 (both dates inclusive).

Selection Procedure

The recruitment process includes an Online Test, followed by Screening and an Interview. The Online Test comprises two parts:

Objective Test: 120 marks, lasting two hours, divided into four sections with separate timings.

Descriptive Test: 50 marks, lasting 30 minutes, assessing candidates' skills in English Language through letter and essay writing.

The Descriptive Test will be conducted immediately following the Objective Test, and candidates will be required to type their responses on the computer.

Application Fee

Candidates belonging to the General, EWS, and OBC categories must pay an application fee of Rs 750. However, applicants from SC, ST, and PwBD categories are exempted from payment.

The fee can be paid through debit card, credit card, or Internet banking. Any applicable transaction charges for online payment will be borne by the candidates themselves.
