The Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) has announced job opportunities for managerial positions and is inviting applications from eligible candidates. 

Interested individuals can submit their applications online via the official SAIL website at sail.co.in. 

The registration process has opened from December 15 to January 11, 2024.

• AGM (E-5) (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil): 7 posts

• AGM (E-5) (Projects): 5 posts

• Manager (E-3) (Mechanical/Electrical/ Civil): 12 posts

• Manager (E-3) (Metallurgy): 2 posts

• Manager (Mechanical–Hydraulics) (E-3): 2 posts

• Manager (E-3) (Information Technology): 3 posts

• Manager (E-3) (Mines) (for OGoM only): 3 posts

• Manager (E-3) (Projects): 5 posts

• Dy. Manager (E-2) (P&HS): 1 post

• Asst. Manager (E-1) (Geology) (for OGoM only): 1 post

Educational Qualification

To be eligible to apply, candidates must have passed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant discipline from recognised University or Institute.

Selection Process

Candidates for the mentioned posts will undergo selection through a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and Interview, or through an Interview, or a combination of both.

In the case of selection through the interview only, the minimum qualifying marks are set at 50% for unreserved posts and 40% for posts reserved for SC/ST/OBC(NCL) candidates.

Emoluments & Other Benefits

AGM (E-5)

• Scale of Pay: Rs.1,00,000–3%–2,60,000/- (E–5)

• CTC (at minimum of respective Pay Scale): Approximately Rs.29.8 Lakh per annum

Manager (E–3)

• Scale of Pay: Rs.80,000–3%–2,20,000/- (E–3)

• CTC (at minimum of respective Pay Scale): Approximately Rs.24.4 Lakh per annum

Dy. Manager (E–2)

• Scale of Pay: Rs.70,000–3%–2,00,000/- (E–2)

• CTC (at minimum of respective Pay Scale): Approximately Rs.21.8 Lakh per annum

Asst. Manager (E-1)

• Scale of Pay: Rs.50,000–3%–1,60,000/-(E–1)

• After completion of 01 (one) year of service/training, they shall be considered in E–1 grade in the Scale of Pay of Rs.60,000–3%–1,80,000/- (E–1)

• CTC (at minimum of respective Pay Scale): Approximately Rs.16.4 Lakh per annum
