SAIL announces recruitment for Management Trainee posts, check details

Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has announced openings for Management Trainee posts, inviting eligible candidates to apply online through their official website at sailcareers.com. 

The registration process began on July 5 and will conclude on July 25, 2024.

• Civil: 21 posts

• Computer: 9 posts

• Instrumentation: 11 posts

Educational Qualification

Candidates must hold an engineering degree with at least 65% marks in any of the following disciplines: chemical, civil, computer, electrical, electronics, instrumentation, mechanical, or metallurgy. 

Age Limit

The maximum age limit is 28 years as of July 25, 2024, meaning candidates should not have been born before July 25, 1996. SC/ST/PwBD and Departmental candidates with an engineering degree in the required disciplines and a minimum of 55% marks are eligible to apply.

Selection Process

SAIL will utilize GATE 2024 scores for recruiting Management Trainees in the specified engineering disciplines. Shortlisted candidates will be notified via the SAIL careers page, email, or phone to participate in a Group Discussion (GD) and Interview. The final selection will be based on a merit list combining GATE 2024 scores, GD, and Interview scores with a weightage of 75:10:15, respectively.

Application Fee

The application fee is Rs 700 for General/OBC (NCL)/EWS candidates and Rs 200 as a processing fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Departmental candidates. The fee can be paid online through Net Banking, Credit Card, ATM-cum-Debit Card, or at a bank using a system-generated challan form.
