The South East Central Railway (SECR) had released a notification inviting applications from candidates for trade Apprentice posts. Interested and eligible candidates must apply for the positions today, October 10, as it's the last day of application submission.
According to the official notification, many as 432 Apprentices will be recruited in the South East Central Railway, Bilaspur Division for the year 2021- 22 under Apprentices Act 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules 1962.
To avoid the last-hour rush, candidates must brace up now to apply online through the official site of SECR on secr.indianrailways.gov.in.

Educational Qualification:
- 10th class examination under 10+2 system or its equivalent
- ITI course in relevant trades from a recognised institution
Age limit: Candidates applying should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as on 01.07.2021.
The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 yrs for SC/ST candidates, 03 yrs for OBC, and 10 yrs for Ex-serviceman and PWD. For details, go through the link given below.
Period of Apprenticeship and Stipend:
Selected candidates will be engaged as apprentices and they will undergo apprenticeship training for a period of 1 year for each trade. They will be paid
stipend during their training as per the rules of the State Government of Chhattisgarh. Their training will be terminated after the completion of their
apprenticeship.
