The Western Railway recently invited applications for apprentice positions. Candidates must brace up now as the last date to apply for the positions is June 24, 2021.
Applications for the Railway apprentice positions can be submitted Online. The online applications are available on the RRC-WR website, https://www.rrc-wr.com.
“This is a Centralized Notification for engagement of Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 being conducted by Western Railway and Railway Recruitment Cell. Western Railway (RRC-WR) has been nominated as nodal agency for obtaining ONLINE applications from Applicants,” official notification of the concerned railway division read.

It further read, "Applicants can submit their applications ONLINE only on RRC’s website https://www.rrc-wr.com. The candidature of the Applicants will be considered only on the basis of the information filled in the online application."
"In case of Direct Recruitment from Open Market to Posts / Categories in Level-1 (Rs 18,000- - Rs 56,900), Course Completed Act Apprentices (CCAA) trained in Railway Establishments and possessing National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) will be given preference in filling up 20% vacancies on qualifying the requisite norms notified by RRB/RRC," it added.
Railway Recruitment 2021 Vacancy Details
Age Criteria: Candidates applying should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as on 24/06/2021.
There is a relaxation in upper age limit by 05 years in case of SC/ST applicants and 03 years in case of OBC Applicants. For details, go through the link given below.
Educational Qualification: Matriculate or 10th Class in 10+2 examination system with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from recognised Board.
Technical Qualifications: ITI certificate affiliated to NCVT / SCVT is compulsory in relevant trades.
Application Fees: Candidates will have to shell out Rs 100 (non-refundable) and it has to be made through online mode. SC/ ST/ PWD/ Women applicants are exempted from the fee payment.
