The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has released a fresh advertisement for recruitment of Welfare Extension Officer (WEO) under the Director of ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare Department, Bhubaneswar.
The OSSC, through the recruitment process, will fill up vacancy of 129 Welfare Extension Officers. The candidates will be appointed as Initial Appointee.
Vacancy Details:
UR-82 (women-27), SEBC- 2 (women -1), SC-16 (women -5), ST-29 (women-10) Total: 129
Remuneration:
On selection to the post, the candidate will be appointed as Initial Appointee carrying a remuneration of Rs 25,300 per month (for first year). The post shall be guided by relevant recruitment Rule & the Odisha Group-B Posts (Contractual Appointment) Rules 2013.
Minimum Educational Qualification:
The candidate applying for the post must have passed Bachelor Degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce or equivalent examination from any recognised University. The candidate must have passed M.E standard/RSC examination with Odia as a language subject.
Age:
Must not be below 21 years and above 32 years of age as on January 1, 2021 with usual age relaxation as per rules for SC, ST, SEBC, women, ex-servicemen, PwD, in-service contractual employees and for Sevaks & Teachers who are serving under the SC & ST Development Department.
