OPSC recruitment: Written exam schedule for post graduate teachers released

The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) on Tuesday released the schedule for the conduct of the written examination for recruitment to the post of post graduate teachers under the Science stream.

As per the notice, the written exam for the recruitment of post graduate teachers (Group B) of State service for Higher Secondary Schools under ST and SC Development Department, Bhubaneswar will be held on July 3, 2022.

The examination will be conducted in Cuttack zone only. The OPSC notice further said that the written examination will be conducted in three sessions:

Session 1(forenoon): 9:30 am to 10:30 am

Part A: Subject (Compulsory): General English, Computer Aptitude, Pedagogy, General Knowledge

Session II: 11:30 am to 1:30 pm

Part B: Subject (concerned optional subject): Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Mathematics, English

Session III: 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm

Part B: (concerned optional subject): Odia

In its notice, the OPSC has said that for persons with disability, candidates who are unable to write and take assistance of scribe will be given 20 minutes extra time in each hour. The PwD candidates, who will not take assistance of scribes, are also allowed to avail extra time of 20 minutes in each sitting.

“The centre of examination will be published shortly. The candidates are advised to go through the OPSC website for updates,” the notice added.
