Educational Qualification
Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture or Horticulture from a university or institution recognized by any State Government or the Government of India. No other qualifications will be accepted.
Age Limit
Candidates must be at least 21 years old and not over 38 as of January 1, 2024, meaning they should be born between January 2, 1986, and January 1, 2003.
Selection Process
The selection for Assistant Agriculture Officer posts includes a competitive examination and an interview. The written test consists of two papers, each with 100 questions worth 1 mark each, totaling 200 marks, and lasting 2 hours. A penalty of 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. The interview carries 25 marks.
