ONGC Recruitment 2025: Openings for AEE and Geophysicist posts

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has invited applications for the positions of AEE and Geophysicist. 

Interested candidates can apply on the official ONGC website, at ongcindia.com. 

The application process started on January 10, 2025, and the last date is January 24, 2025. 

The Computer-Based Test (CBT) is on February 23, 2025.

Eligibility

Applicants willing to apply for the posts listed above must see the Detailed Notification for qualifications in terms of educational and age requirements.

Selection Process

The selection process will consist of a Computer-Based Test consisting of four sections:

• General Awareness

• Relevant Topic

• English Language

• Aptitude Test

The CBT is 2 hours in total. The CBT scores of the candidates will be used by ONGC to shortlist candidates in a 1:5 ratio for the further process of selection, which involves a Personal Interview. In cases where multiple candidates achieve the minimum cut-off marks, all of them will be shortlisted, relaxing the given ratio. Shortlisted candidates will also undergo a Group Discussion.

Application Fee

Candidates from General/EWS/OBC categories need to pay an application fee of Rs 1000. The application fee for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD categories is exempted. Online payment is mandatory.
