The Odisha Forest Development Corporation Limited (OFDC) has released the date and schedule of the written examination to be conducted for recruitment of 179 Field Assistant, Grade-III on contractual basis in its different units.
The Corporation in its latest notification informed that the Computer Based Test (CBT) for selection of candidates will be held in two batches on November 28, 2021 at various cities and towns across the State.
As per the schedule, the CBT for the first batch will commence at 10 am on November 28 and continue till 12 pm. Similarly, the second sitting will be conducted between 2 pm and 4 pm.
The link for downloading of Admit Cards for the Computer Based Test has been made available on OFDC website https://www.odishafdc.com from 10 am today (November 18). Important instructions to candidates appearing for the examination have also uploaded on the website.
“The applicants are advised to visit the website of the Corporation at www.odishafdc.com for downloading of Admit Card well ahead of the Examination date and for latest updates on recruitment,” the Corporation stated in the notification.
As per the notice, the written examination will comprise a total of 104 questions carrying 200 marks from subjects like General English, Odia, General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. There will be no negative marking in the examination.
Applicants will have to report at the examination centre 90 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
In order to become familiar with the computer based test, candidates can take the Mock Test by clicking the "Mock Test" Button provided in the career page of the website. They are to provide the login details as sent to them through SMS to their registered mobile number.
The appointment to the posts will be made initially on contractual basis on consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs 8,390 in the Pay Band of Rs 4,930-Rs 14, 6801- with GP- Rs 1,775.
