Odisha Teachers Recruitment: Candidates Can Now Apply Offline For 4619 Posts After HC Ruling
The Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE), Odisha has released the offline application form for recruitment to 4619 posts of Contractual Hindi, Sanskrit and Physical Education Teachers.
In a notification, the DSE said the blank application form has been made available on its website https://dseodisha.in/ for candidates who have obtained permission from the Orissa High Court to submit application form through offline mode.
“Candidates who have filed writ petitions before Orissa High Court challenging the advertisement and have obtained interim order from the Court to permit them to submit application by way of offline mode through hard copy are here by informed that, the blank form for application through hard copy is available, in this website,” the notification read.

The concerned candidates are to get a printout of the blank application form, fill in and submit the same along with copy of the interim order passed by the High Court and Bank Draft of required amount of application fee (drawn in favour of Director Secondary Education, Odisha payable at Bhubaneswar).
The application and the bank draft can be submitted to the Directorate of Secondary Education, Odisha, 6th floor, Heads of Department Building, Unit-V, Bhubaneswar, PIN, 751001 Odisha on or before September 14, 2021, 6 pm.
“The last date for submission of application in offline mode through hard copy remains the same ie.14.09.2021, 6 pm. For postal delay or delay due to any other reason, the Director Secondary Education, Odisha shall not be held responsible. Any application received after 14.09.2021, 6 pm shall be rejected,” the notification stated.
“As per order of the High Court, the petitioners will be permitted to appear but their result shall not be declared without leave of the Court,” it added.
Notably, as many as 4619 teacher posts will be filled up through the recruitment drive in government Secondary schools across the State.
The selection for the recruitment will be made through Computer Based Competitive Examination, to be held in selected Test Centres in Odisha.
