A day after the Odisha government announced to recruit 11,403 teachers in government-run high schools across the State, a formal notification has been published for the mega recruitment drive on Friday.
"The Director of Secondary Education (DSE), Odisha invites online applications from intending eligible candidates for recruitment against existing vacancies of Initial Appointee Teachers in Government Secondary Schools of Odisha. The selection for the recruitment will be made through Computer Based Test (CBT) to be held in selected Test Centres in Odisha," the government notification stated.
The online registration for the recruitment will commence on the official website www.dseodisha.in on January 3, 2022 and continue till January 31, 2022. The online examination will tentatively be conducted in the first week of March, 2022.

How to Apply:
Candidates are required to apply online through the appropriate link on the website https://dseodisha.in/ after being satisfied that they are eligible for the post as per advertisement. Application through any other mode shall not be accepted.
Educational Qualification:
The minimum academic qualification for different posts is bachelor's degree in respective subjects along with professional qualifications like B.Ed from NCTE recognised institutions and Shastri (Sanskrit).
Age:
A candidate must have attained 21 years of age and must not above 32 years of age as on January 1, 2021.
Application Processing Fee:
All candidates will have to pay Rs 600 as application processing fee whereas the fee is Rs 400 for candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwD categories.
Place and Date of Examination:
The Computer Based Competitive Examination shall be held in selected Test Centres of the State. The exact dates of examination will be notified later.
Method of Selection:
The selection will be made on the basis of result of Computer Based Competitive Examination.
