The Odisha Police on Saturday issued a detailed notification for the Combined Police Service Examination for recruitment of 933 Sub-Inspector (SI) rank posts.

As per the official notification, 609 posts of Sub-Inspectors, 253 posts of Sub Inspectors (Armed), 47 posts of Station Officer (Fire) and 24 posts of Assistant Jailor under Home Department of Odisha Government will be filled up.

The online registration will start from January 20 and the last date is February 10, 2025.

Important Note: 

Persons with disability are not eligible for recruitment to the above posts.

Women and transgender candidates are eligible to apply for posts of SI of Police and Assistant Jailor. But they are not eligible for the post of SI of Police (Armed) and Station Officer in Fire Service.

Scale Of Pay: Pay band of Rs 9300-34800 with grade pay of Rs 4200 i.e Rs 35,400 in the Cell 1 of level 9 of pay matrix of ORSP 2017.
