The Odisha Police Staff Selection Board (SSB) recently held a computer-based test for recruiting Sepoys/Constables in December, spanning from the 7th to the 18th of the month. While the provisional answer key was issued shortly after the exams, candidates now await the declaration of the results which will be made available on the official website, odishapolice.gov.in.
However, SSB Odisha is yet to confirm the specific date and time for the result of the recruitment exam drive conducted to fill 2,030 vacancies for Sepoy/Constable positions. Initially, 1,360 posts were announced, but an additional 720 positions were later included, offering more opportunities to eligible candidates.
To ensure fairness, the SSB has announced that the scores for the multi-shift computer-based examination will be normalised using the method employed by the National Testing Agency (NTA). This adjustment ensures that all candidates are evaluated on an equal footing despite variations in question papers across shifts.
SSB Odisha invited objections from candidates after releasing the provisional answer key with a submission deadline of December 30. A fee of Rs 250 was charged per objection, which would be refunded if the objection was deemed valid, post deduction of applicable bank charges. A final answer key is expected to be released after reviewing all valid objections.
