Odisha Junior Teacher Recruitment 2023: OSEPA announces CBT date, check details

The Odisha School Education Programme Authority (OSEPA) has announced the date of the computer-based test to be conducted for the recruitment of 20,000 junior teachers (schematic) in Primary and Upper Primary Schools across the state. 

The OSEPA said the computer-based test under the recruitment drive will commence on November 3, 2023. All the information regarding the CBT has been made available on the official website-www.osepa.odisha.gov.in. 

Sharing information about the admit card for the upcoming exam, the OSEPA said that the link for downloading the e-Admit card will be made available on the official website from October 22, 2023. 

The syllabus of the CBT examination is available on the OSEPA website.

Notably, the application process to fill up 20,000 JT posts began on September 13 and continued till October 10. 

Salary of Junior Teacher (Schematic)

Those selected will get a monthly remuneration of Rs 11,100, excluding the employer’s share of the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF). After three years of continuous and satisfactory service as a Junior Teacher, a teacher will be appointed as a regular Elementary Teacher through absorption in the Elementary cadre. The monthly salary for a regular Elementary Teacher is Rs. 23,600/-, plus Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other admissible allowances.
