The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has invited online applications for recruitment of Principal, Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT), Post Graduate Teachers (PGT), and personnel in the Miscellaneous Category.
The registration for the online applications for the posts will begin on July 2. Eligible candidates are advised to register on or before July 22 by visiting the website www.navodaya.gov.in.
The recruitment will be done on the basis of Computer Based Test (CBT) and interview followed by document verification and medical examination. However, the CBT will be held for three hours and the paper will be a 150 marks paper.

Total vacancies: 1616
- Principal: 12 posts, age limit for the post is maximum 50 years
- PGT: 397 posts, age limit for the post is maximum 40 years
- TGT: 683 posts, age limit for the post is maximum 35 years
- TGT (Third Language): 343 posts, age limit for the post is maximum 35 years
- Music Teacher: 33 posts, age limit for the post is maximum 35 years
- Art Teacher: 43 posts, age limit for the post is maximum 35 years
- PET Male: 21 posts, age limit for the post is maximum 35 years
- PET Female: 31 posts, age limit for the post is maximum 35 years
- Librarian: 53 posts, age limit for the post is maximum 35 years
Educational qualification
The interested candidate should have completed their graduation or post-graduation degree with at least 50% in the relevant subjects.
BEd is required for the posts of Principal, TGT and PGT teachers. For the post of Music Teacher, Art Teacher, PRT teacher and Librarian, a Degree/ Diploma in the respective subject is required.

- Gen/ OBC/ EWS (TGT, Miscellaneous): Rs 1500
For candidates belonging to category of SC/ST/ PwD, the application fee for the registration is exempted.
