Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should hold a degree from a recognized university or institute, with results declared by or before the last date of registration. Additionally, proficiency in the local language of the respective region or area is required, with preference given to the domiciles of that region.
Age Limit
The age requirement for candidates is a minimum of 20 years and a maximum of 28 years as of January 1, 2024. However, relaxation in the upper age limit will be applicable for categories such as SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD, in accordance with Government guidelines.
Selection Procedure
The selection process for the engagement of Apprentices includes an Online Written Test (objective type), with candidates evaluated based on their merit in this examination. The pattern of the online examination is as follows:
General Awareness & English Comprehension
Number of Questions: 50
Maximum Marks: 50
Duration: 30 minutes
Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning Ability
Number of Questions: 50
Maximum Marks: 50
Duration: 30 minutes
The total for the examination is 100 questions for 100 marks, to be completed in 60 minutes (1 hour). However, it is important to note that there will be a penalty for incorrect answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question answered incorrectly, 0.5 marks will be deducted.
Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable amount of Rs 700 as the intimation fee. However, reserved category candidates are required to pay an amount of Rs 500. The fee is to be paid through online mode only.
