Jail Warder Recruitment: Apply for over 250 posts in Assam Police; check details

The State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), Assam has invited applications for recruitment into Jail Warder posts.

Eligible and interested candidates can apply for the posts through the official site of SLPRB i.e. slprbassam.in.

The registration process will begin today i.e. on January 28 and the deadline to apply for the post is February 11.

Educational Qualification

Candidate should have passed HSLC or equivalent from a government recognised Board or Council.

Age Limit

The age of the candidate must be between 18 years to 40 years as of 01-01-2023 (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before January 1, 2005, and on or after January 1, 1983).

Age Relaxation

• SC, ST (P) and ST(H) category: 5 years

• OBC/MOBC category: 3 years

• Ex-Servicemen category: 2 years

Physical Standards

Height

• Gen/OBC/MOBC/SC: Male: 162.5 cm, Female: 144.5 cm

• ST (H)/ST (P): Male: 160 cm, Female: 142 cm

Chest (only for men): measuring not less than 81 cm when deflated
