ISRO Scientist/Engineer recruitment 2025 opens; apply by May 19

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has begun its recruitment drive for 2025, inviting applications for 63 Scientist/Engineer 'SC' posts across Electronics, Mechanical, and Computer Science streams.

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has officially invited applications for the recruitment of Scientist/Engineer 'SC' posts through its Centralised Recruitment Board (ICRB). 

The application process is valid till May 19, 2025. However, last day for fee payment is May 21, 2025.

The official date for the written test or interview will be released separately on the ISRO website.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must hold a BE/B.Tech or equivalent degree in the respective discipline (Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, or Computer Science) with at least 65% aggregate marks.

Additionally, a valid GATE scorecard in the relevant subject is mandatory at the time of application.

Age Limit

The maximum age for applicants is 28 years as of May 19, 2025. Candidates from reserved categories such as ex-servicemen, government employees, and persons with benchmark disabilities are eligible for age relaxation as per Government of India rules.

Application Fee

Fee for All Categories (UR/OBC/EWS/SC/ST/PH/Female): Rs 250.

Only candidates who appear in the exam or interview will be eligible for a refund of the application fee. Payment can be made online only through the Bharatkosh portal via UPI, internet banking, or domestic debit/credit cards. No offline payments will be accepted.

After registration, they must fill in academic, personal, and professional details, upload relevant documents, and complete the fee payment.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on GATE scores, followed by a written test or interview, depending on the discipline.

Final selection criteria and cut-offs will be released separately for each post, and shortlisted candidates will be informed via email or the official website.
