The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has commenced the online application process for recruitment to the posts of Scientist/Engineer 'SC'. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official website, isro.gov.in, by May 19, 2025.

Last date for fee payment: May 21, 2025

Vacancies by Discipline

A total of 63 positions are available under the following engineering disciplines:

Electronics: 22 posts

Mechanical: 33 posts

Computer Science: 8 posts

Application Fee

Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₹250. The fee must be paid online via the Bharatkosh portal, which will be accessible after the submission of the online application form. Accepted payment methods include, Internet Banking, Unified Payment Interface (UPI), Debit/Credit Cards
Payments made via cash, cheque, or demand draft will not be accepted.

Age Limit and Relaxation

The upper age limit for applicants is 28 years as on May 19, 2025. Age relaxations are applicable for candidates from reserved categories including, Government employees, Ex-servicemen, Persons with benchmark disabilities as per the norms set by the Government of India.

Shortlisting Criteria

Selection for the interview stage will be based on valid GATE scores from either GATE 2024 or GATE 2025. Applicants must ensure that their GATE subject aligns with the relevant engineering discipline. Candidates are advised to enter their GATE score accurately, as the shortlisting will depend on the details submitted.

The ISRO Centralised Recruitment Board (ICRB) will cross-verify GATE scores, and any misrepresentation may result in disciplinary action, including legal consequences.
