The Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) is inviting online applications for recruiting experienced non-executive candidates to fill 513 vacant positions in its refinery divisions.
Of the total posts across the country, 99 posts of Junior Engineering Assistant-IV in various units like production, P&U-O&M, mechanical and instrumentation will be filled up in Paradip Refinery in Odisha.
Qualification
Jr Engineering Asst-IV (Production)- Diploma (Chemical/ Refinery & Petrochemical Engg.)/ B.Sc. (Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry) with Relevant Experience
Junior Engineering Assistant-IV (P&U)- Matriculation with ITI (Fitter Trade), Diploma (Mech & Elect Engg.) with Relevant Experience
Jr Engineering Asst-IV (Mechanical)- Diploma (Electrical Engg) with Relevant Experience
Jr Engineering Asst-IV (Instrumentation)- Diploma (Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Electronics/Instrumentation & Control Engg) with Relevant Experience

Salary
The post of non-executive personnel will draw a salary in the pay scale of Rs 25,000-Rs 1,05,000. Besides basic pay and industrial pattern of DA, the other allowances/benefits will be given.
Age limit
Minimum 18 years and maximum age shall be 26 years for General candidates as on 30-09-2021. Relaxation in age up to 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates considered against reserved positions will be allowed. PwBD candidates will be allowed age relaxation up to 10 years.
Selection Methodology
The selection methodology will comprise Written Test and a Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT). The SPPT will be of qualifying nature.
A candidate will have to secure a minimum of 40% marks in the written test to qualify for further consideration.
The minimum qualifying marks in the written test will be relaxed by 5% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD categories considered against reserved positions.
