Indian Navy has released an advertisement regarding the recruitment of Sailor in its official recruitment website.

Unmarried male candidates can apply online through its official website joinindiannavy.gov.in.

The registration process expected to start today after which it will last until September 17 2024.

Eligibility Criteria

For candidates who are going to apply for the posts, they should have finished at least the 10+2 Examination in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) in a Board of School Education authorized by the Ministry of Education India.

In addition, they have to obtain an overall aggregate of 50% with a minimum of 40% in each subject. Persons eligible for this offer must have been born between 1 November 2003 and 30 April 2007 (both dates inclusive).

Selection Process

The process of selection for the SSR (Med Asst) 02/2024 is very simple with only two levels which are

Stage I: Screening for eligibility by evaluating aspirant’s marks in 10+2 PCB degree.

Stage II: Enlisted candidates shall submit to Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Written Examination, and Indian Navy Constable recruitment medical examination as performed at prescribed Indian Navy medical clinics.

Therefore, the shortlisting process will be based on the overall percentage scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects in the tenth plus second examination for all states in the country.

  • Click on the "Apply Online" link available on the home page

  • Enter your registration details and click "Submit"

  • Log in to your account once registration is complete

  • Fill out the application form and make the payment for the application fee

  • Click "Submit" and download the application page.

  • Keep a hard copy of the downloaded page for future reference

Basic training for the course will begin in November 2024 at INS Chilka, Odisha, followed by professional training.
