India Post bumper vacancy 2023: Application begins for over 30000 GDS posts, check details

The Indian Postal Circle has issued a vacancy notification for the recruitment of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS)  [Branch Postmaster (BPM)/Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM)/Dak Sevaks]. 

The application process for the mega recruitment drive has commenced today. The last date for registration and payment of fees is 23-08-2023.

Educational Qualification

Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard having passed in Mathematics and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) conducted by any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/State Governments/ Union Territories in India shall be

Age Limit (as on 23-08-2023)

Minimum Age: 18 Years
Maximum Age: 40 Years

Age relaxation is applicable to as per rules

Emoluments

BPM- Rs.12,000-29,380
ABPM/Dak Sevak-Rs.10,000-24,470

Selection Criteria

The applicants will be shortlisted for engagement on the basis of a system generated merit list.
