India Post announces biggest recruitment drive in 2023; apply for over 1880 posts

India Post is currently accepting applications for various positions, including Postal Assistant. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official website at dopsportsrecruitment.cept.gov.in. 

The registration process is set to commence on November 10 and will conclude on December 9.

The correction window for application form will be open from December 10 to December 14, 2023.

Total Vacancy: 1,899 posts

• Postal Assistant: 598 posts

• Sorting Assistant: 143 posts

• Postman: 585 posts

• Mail Guard: 3 posts

• Multi Tasking Staff: 570 posts

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed class 10th, Class 12th or Bachelor’s degree from recognised University or Institute.

Age Limit

The age of candidate must be between 18 years and 27 years as on crucial date. For MTS posts, the upper age limit is 25 years.

Application Fee

The application fee is Rs 100. However, women, transgender people, and candidates from SC, ST, PwBD, and EWS groups are exempt from paying the fee.

Pay Scale

• Postal Assistant: Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,100

• Sorting Assistant: Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,100

• Postman: Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100

• Mail Guard: Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100

• Multi Tasking Staff: Rs 18,000 to Rs 56,900
