IMD is filling up multiple vacancies of project staff, apply now

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) under the Ministry of Earth Sciences is inviting online applications for the positions of Project Scientist III, Project Scientists II, Project Scientists I, Research Associate, Senior Research Fellow and Junior Research Fellow. 

A total of 165 posts are to be filled up by the IMD under the recruitment drive. The last date for submission of online application as per the performa is October 9, 2022.

Selected candidates will be engaged in different R&D programmes in the field of meteorology and its allied subjects on Project Mode (Contract basis).

Qualifications: 

M.Sc, M.E,  B.Tech, B.E, Ph.D, M.S, Master’s Degree in relevant subjects along with requisite research experience.

Candidates are required to apply ONLINE. No other means/mode of application will be accepted.

Selection Process:

Eligible candidates will be screened and called for interview before the selection board. The final selection of the screened in candidate will be based on the candidate’s performance before the Selection Board. 

Emoluments: The salary of candidates vary for different positions from Rs 78,000 to Rs 35,000 per month along with other benefits. 

Place of Posting: 

Pune/ Delhi or anywhere in India as per requirement.
