The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially rescheduled the Chartered Accountants Final, Intermediate, and International Taxation - Assessment Test (INTT-AT) examinations, originally slated between May 9 and May 14, 2025. The decision follows earlier uncertainty caused by national security concerns. The exams will now be held from May 16 to May 24, 2025, as per a revised notification issued by the Institute.
Final and INTT-AT Exam Shifts
According to the updated timetable:
Final Examination (Group II) Paper 5 on Indirect Tax Laws and INTT-AT Paper 1 on Transfer Pricing, earlier scheduled for May 10, will now be conducted on May 16.
Final Paper 6 on Integrated Business Solutions and INTT-AT Paper 2 on International Tax – Practice, initially set for May 13, will now be held on May 18.
Revised Intermediate Exam Dates
The Intermediate Examination (Group II) papers have been rescheduled as follows:
Paper 4 (Cost & Management Accounting), previously on May 9, moved to May 20.
Paper 5 (Auditing & Ethics), earlier planned for May 11, will now be held on May 22.
Paper 6 (Financial Management & Strategic Management), initially due on May 14, has been postponed to May 24.
Other Key Details Remain Unchanged
All rescheduled exams will be held at the same centres and timings — from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, or 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM where applicable. Admit cards already issued will remain valid for the new dates.
Importantly, the Chartered Accountants Foundation examinations scheduled for May 15, 17, 19, and 21 will proceed without alteration.
The ICAI has clarified that even if any of these revised dates are later declared as public or local holidays, the examination schedule will not be altered. Candidates are advised to stay updated through the Institute’s official website, www.icai.org.
