Age Limit
The maximum age limit for the post of Graduate Engineer Trainee is 28 years as of January 1, 2024.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must attain a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in the aggregate in their engineering degree in the relevant discipline from a University or Institution recognized by the Government, UGC, AIU, or AICTE.
Candidates are required to have cleared the GATE Examination in either 2021, 2022, or 2023 and possess a valid GATE score from the corresponding years.
Selection Process
The selection procedure for the Graduate Engineer Trainee position comprises two steps, with the following weightage assigned: GATE score accounting for 70 per cent and Personal Interview carrying a weightage of 30 per cent.
Application Fee
All candidates, including PwBDs, are exempt from paying fees. Only General, OBC, and EWS candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application processing charge of Rs 500.
