  • Journeyman (Fitter): 4 posts

  • Journeyman (Crane Operator): 5 posts

  • Journeyman (Machine Operator): 4 posts

  • Journeyman (Machinist): 4 posts

  • Journeyman (Pipe Fitter): 7 posts

  • Journeyman (Rigger): 5 posts

  • Journeyman (Driver Material Handling): 2 posts

  • Journeyman (Electronic Mechanic): 2 posts

  • Journeyman (Diesel Mechanic): 7 posts

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed matriculation from recogised Board.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit is 26 years as of January 1, 2024.

Selection Process

The selection process will include a written test followed by a practical (trade) test. The Pen & Paper-based Test with OMR answer sheets will be conducted in Kolkata and Ranchi. Additionally, candidates shortlisted for Journeyman (Driver Material Handling), Journeyman (Rigger), and Journeyman (Crane Operator) posts will undergo a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) along with the Written Test and Practical Test. The PET is of a qualifying nature.

Application Fees

The application fee is Rs 472 and can be paid through online mode (Payment Gateway). SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Internal Candidates are exempted from the payment of the application fee.
