The Food Corporation of India (FCI) has invited applications for the positions of General Manager on deputation basis. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the positions before the deadline.
Similarly, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has also released a notification inviting applications for the positions of Regional Manager on deputation basis.
The last date of application submission for the FCI and IRCTC vacancies is June 6, 2022.
FCI recruitment 2022 vacancy details
This is regarding filling up the post of General Manager (Region), Food Corporation of India. Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh under the D/o Food and Public Distribution on deputation basis.
The post is a CSS post to be filled through the Civil Services Board (CSB) procedure. This post has been identified as a sensitive post, read the official notification.
“Officers of the rank of Deputy Secretary/Director of the Government of India or equivalent level, eligible for appointment under Central Staffing Scheme are eligible for the post,” it added.
IRCTC recruitment vacancy details
Job description: To look after all administrative work, business and entire functions of Regional Office/GHY. Overall supervision and monitoring of entire catering and tourism activities at stations falling under RO/GHY and to monitor trains operated by IRCTC under those stations, read the official release.
Qualification/ Experience:
Essential: Indian Railways Service.
Desirable: Officer having IT exposure will be preferred, and experience of Commercial Department of Indian Railways. The number of years of experience and nature of experience of the officer in the specific areas as per requirement will be taken into consideration.
