Eastern Coalfields Limited Recruitment: Vacancies Announced For 313 Posts Of Mining Sirdar

The Eastern Coalfields Limited, a subsidiary of Coal India Limited engaged in coal mining in West Bengal and Jharkhand states, has invited online application from candidates to fill up the posts of Mining Sirdar.

As per the advertisement, a total of 313 Mining Sirdar posts will be filled up under this recruitment drive.

Already the online application process has started from February 20 and the last date is March 10, 2022.

Mining Sirdar (T&S Group C): 313 Posts

Minimum Qualification:

i) 10+2 or equivalent.

ii) Valid Mining Sirdarship Certificate of Competency from DGMS.

iii) Valid Gas Testing Certificate.

iv) Valid First Aid Certificate.

OR

i) Recognised Diploma or degree in Mining Engineering having valid statutory competency certificates, recognised by DGMS to work as Mining Sirdar in coal mines.

ii)Valid Gas Testing Certificate.

iii) Valid First Aid Certificate.

Age Limit:

i) The Cut-Off date for determining Age Limit Criteria will be 20/02/2022.

ii) Candidate must not be below 18 years and of age as on 20/02/2022.

iii) The Upper age Limit for unreserved category should not be more than 30 Years of age as on 20/02/2022

Selection process (Computer Based Test):

The candidates will be required to undergo an Online Computer Based Test (CBT) comprising of total 50 Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) carrying 01 mark each on Concerned Subject.

The provisional merit list shall be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in written test (Computer Based Test) subject to the Scrutiny of eligibility documents at the time of Initial Medical Examination (IME). Finally, selected candidates will have to undergo Initial Medical Examination (IME) by company’s own doctors and the findings thereon will be final.
