The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has invited applications from candidates for the conduct of an open competitive examination for recruitment of Head Constable (Assistant Wireless Operator (AWO)/Tele-Printer Operator (TPO)) in Delhi Police.
As per the SSC notification, candidates from all parts of the country are eligible to apply.

Pay Scale: 25500 – 81100 Level -4
Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as on 01.07.2022 (i.e. candidates born not before 02-07-1995 and not later than 01-07-2004 are eligible to apply).
The upper age limit will be relaxable only in the following cases:
- Up to a maximum of 5 years if a candidate belongs to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe category. - Up to a maximum of 3 years if a candidate belongs to an OBC category.
Note: This relaxation is admissible for those castes notified in the Central List and the List issued by the Govt. of NCT of Delhi.
The upper age limit is admissible up to 35 years for General category (38 years for OBC, 40 years for SCs/STs) for widows/divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands and who are not re-married.
Educational Qualification (as on closing date of application form)
Passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) from a recognised Board with Science and Mathematics as subjects. OR National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the trade of Mechanic-cumOperator Electronic Communication System.
