Central Bank of India invites applications for Credit Officer posts

The Central Bank of India has opened applications for 1,000 Credit Officer posts under Junior Management Grade Scale-I. Online registration is active until February 20, 2025, on centralbankofindia.co.in.

The Central Bank of India has recently issued an official notification stating the availability of application forms for the posts of Credit Officer. 

The online application forms can be filled on the website, centralbankofindia.co.in. 

The online registration has already started and will continue till February 20, 2025.

Total Vacancy: 1000 posts

  • SC: 150 posts

  • ST: 75 posts

  • OBC: 270 posts

  • EWS: 100 posts

  • General: 405 posts

Eligibility Criteria

Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute with at least 60% marks or an equivalent grade (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD) as recognized by the Government of India. Valid Mark-sheet/Degree Certificate from the College/University establishing their graduation at the time of registration and indicating percentage of marks obtained during Graduation.

Age Limit

Candidates must be between 20 and 30 years old, meaning they should have been born on or after November 30, 1994, and on or before November 30, 2004 (both dates inclusive).

Selection Process 

The selection will be done through an online test consisting of a Descriptive Test and a Personal Interview. The final selection will be based on the marks obtained in the Online Examination and the Personal Interview. A final merit list will be prepared in descending order for each category: SC/ST/OBC/EWS/GEN.

Application Fee

The application fee is Rs 150 for Women/SC/ST/PWBD candidates and Rs 750 for candidates from other categories. Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards, Mobile Wallets, or UPI can be used to pay the application fee by following the instructions provided on the screen.

Other Details

Junior Management Grade Scale-I appointees to the Bank will have to qualify in the one-year Post-Graduate Diploma in Banking & Finance Course from an empanelled Institute/University. Assignment of the institute shall be made by the Bank to eligible candidates under its internal allotment process.
