Bharat Petroleum has released an official notification inviting application for the recruitment into positions of Junior Executive and Secretary. Educational Qualification
Junior Executive (Quality Assurance): Candidates should have passed BSc in Chemistry with specialization in Organic / Physical / Inorganic / Analytical chemistry, from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% aggregate percentage (or equivalent CGPA & above), relaxed to 55% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD categories.
Or the aspirant should possess a Diploma in Chemical Engineering (3-year course) from a recognized University with minimum 60% aggregate percentage (or equivalent CGPA & above), relaxed to 55% for SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates.
Applicant should possess a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification relevant work-experience in laboratory in Petroleum/ Oil & Gas/ Petro-Chemical Industry.
Secretary: The candidate must have passed Bachelor’s degree (3-year course), Class 12, Class 10 with a minimum of 70% marks in aggregate (or equivalent CGPA), relaxed to 65% for SC/ST/PwBD categories, from a recognized university.
Additionally, a Diploma or Certification in Administrative Secretarial & PA/Executive Assistant/Secretarial Practice/Office
Management, with a duration of at least 6 months, is desirable. The candidate is also required to possess a minimum work of 5 years.
Age Limit
The age limit for both the above mentioned positions is 29 years. However, the upper age limit relaxation for the reserved category candidates will be followed as per the Presidential directives.
Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable amount of Rs 1180 as the intimation fee. However, SC,ST, PwBD candidates are exempted from paying any application fee.
Selection Procedure
The selection procedure will most likely be multi-stage. The process may include various shortlisting methods such as Application Screening (based on relevant work experience, educational qualifications, etc.), Written/Computer-Based Tests, Case-Based Discussions, Group Tasks, Personal Interviews, and more.
