The Jute Corporation of India Limited has released an official notification for the recruitment of candidates in Non-executive positions of Accountant, Junior Assistant, and Junior Inspector.

Eligibility Criteria
Accountant (23 Posts): Candidate should have a Master’s degree in Commerce stream with Advanced Accountancy and auditing as a special subject with 5 Years’ experience in maintaining commercial accounts including reconciliation and final accounts / experience in handling cash and records. Or, the candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree with 7 Years’ experience in maintaining commercial accounts including reconciliation and final account / experience in handling cash and records.
Junior Assistant (25 Posts): Aspirants are required to have a graduation degree or equivalent certificate from a recognised institute or University with experience in using computers (MS word & Excel) and minimum typing speed is 40 wpm in English.
Junior Inspector (42 Posts): Applicants should have passed 12th grade or equivalent from a recognised board with 3 Years’ experience in purchase / sale of raw jute; its grading and assorting/bailing/storage/transportation.
Age Limit
The upper age limit for all the above mentioned posts is 30 years. However, the upper age limit for the OBC candidates is 33 years, for SC/ST candidates it is 35 years. However, for candidates belonging to the categories of PwBD and PwBd being SC/St, the upper age limit is 40 years and 45 years, respectively. Aspirants belonging to PwBD category who are also OBC, the upper age limit is 43 years. The upper age limit relaxation for ex-servicemen will be based as per the guidelines of Govt. of India.
Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay amount of Rs 250 as the intimation fee. However, for SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempted from paying any fee.
