AAI Recruitment 2024: Apply for Apprentice positions, check eligibility criteria

The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has released a notification for Apprentice positions. 

Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications online through AAI's official website at aai.aero. 

The deadline for application submission is January 15, 2024.

Total Vacancy: 85 posts

• Civil Engg: 15 posts

• Electrical Engg: 21 posts

• Electronic/IT/Computer Science Engg: 9 posts

• Mechanical Engg: 3 posts

• Fitter: 2 posts

• Mechanic: 5 posts

• Draughtsman: 4 posts

• Electrician: 19 posts

Educational Qualification

For Graduate/Diploma candidates, it is required to have a full-time (regular) four-year degree or three years (regular) diploma in Engineering in the specified streams, recognized by AICTE, GOI.
ITI Trade candidates should hold an ITI/NCVT certificate in the mentioned trades from institutions recognized by AICTE, GOI.

Age Limit

Candidates applying for these positions should be within the age bracket of 18 years and 26 years as on December 31, 2023.

Selection Process

• The provisional selection of candidates will be determined by the percentage (%) of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

• The candidature of the applicant will be considered provisional. Shortlisted candidates will be notified for Interview/Document verification through their registered email IDs.

• The final selection will be contingent upon the Interview/verification of certificates and the submission of a Medical Fitness Certificate at the time of joining.

• The selected candidates will be preferably posted at the specified locations in the North Eastern Region, based on their registration location on the portal.

Stipend

• Graduate (Degree) Apprentices will receive a stipend of Rs 15,000

• Technical (Diploma) Apprentices will be eligible for a stipend of Rs 12,000

• Trade Apprentices (ITI) will receive a stipend of Rs 9,000
