2022 OPSC OAS results announced; Swatashree Mohapatra topper

The Odisha Public Service Commission has declared the results for the Odisha Civil Services Examination-2022. Swetashree Mohapatra achieved Rank 1, with Prinkil Parbin Parida at Rank 2, and Dipti Ranjan Pati securing the third position.

The Odisha Public Service Commission on Saturday announced the results of the Odisha Civil Services Examination-2022. 

As per the selection list published by the commission, Swetashree Mohapatra secured Rank 1, while Prinkil Parbin Parida secured Rank 2. Dipti Ranjan Pati was third in the selection list published by the OPSC.

While a total of 683 candidates have been recommended in the selection list, 258 are females. In the top ten, there are five male and five female candidates. 

While expressing her happiness on the achievement, topper Swetashree Mohapatra said, “I am very happy after knowing the result. It was my first attempt. I would like to give the credit of my success to my parents, siblings, friends and everyone around me,” she said. 

"I did my BTech from NIT, Durgapur in electronic and communication engineering stream. After three years of working in the corporate sector, I left my job and started preparing for the exam," she added.

When asked about her success, Sarah Mallick, who secured 14th rank, said, “I am very thankful to Lord Jagannath, my parents, my relatives, my teachers and my friends. The journey was not so easy but they were my pillars of support in my journey.”

“I am a BSc agriculture graduate and passed out in 2019. UPSC has always been my aim and ambition. I started preparation in 2020. I attempted unsuccessfully in 2020 and 2021 and it was my third attempt,” said Sarah.
