Rourkela: Acting on a court order, a local transport businessman Manas Ranjan Mohanty was arrested for his failure to appear before the court in a cheque bounce complaint case.

A local court had issued an arrest warrant three months back against Mohanty on a complaint case filed by Kali Charan Das.

Das had filed the case against Mohanty to get back his friendly hand loan of Rs three lakh. But the cheque issued by Mohanty was bounced.

Mohanty was today produced before the court which remanded him to jail custody.
