US President Donald Trump announced that the United States carried out targeted airstrikes on three of Iran’s major nuclear facilities, Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, early Sunday morning. The strikes represent the most direct American intervention yet in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran.
The high-precision operation reportedly involved B-2 stealth bombers and the use of advanced bunker-buster bombs capable of penetrating deeply fortified targets like the Fordow nuclear site. The strikes were reportedly aimed at crippling Iran’s uranium enrichment capabilities and sending a clear strategic message.
Announcing the operation, President Trump stated, “We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors. There is no other military in the World that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE! Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

Sources indicate the operation followed a week of Israeli-led offensives that softened Iran’s air defences. But the US intervention, particularly the deployment of six GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrators on Fordow, was deemed essential to neutralise the heavily protected site.
In a separate address, Trump declared, "Our objective was the destruction of Iran's nuclear enrichment capacity and a stop to the nuclear threat posed by the world's number one state sponsor of terror. Tonight, I can report to the world that the strikes were a spectacular military success. Iran's key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated."
