7.4-Magnitude Quake Hits Indonesia, Minor Tsunami Detected

The earthquake previously triggered a tsunami warning, but it was lifted about two hours later.

A minor tsunami was detected on Tuesday after a massive 7.4-magnitude earthquake jolted Indonesia's East Nusa Tenggara province, the country's Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency said.

While one person was injured in Mangarai district, several houses were damaged in Selayar Island of South Sulawesi province, Richard Elt, head of East Nusa Tenggara's emergency unit, told Xinhua news agency.
