Five sentenced to ten years for gangrape

Muzaffarnagar: A local court has convicted and sentenced five men to 10 years imprisonment for gangraping a minor girl at Jasala village of Shamli district.

Additional district sessions judge Ramesh Diwaker also imposed a fine of Rs 12,000 each on Pradeep Kumar, Vijay, Ramfal, Farookh and Pappan.

According to the prosecution, the accused abducted the victim on January 25, 2009, and raped her for seven months.
