Badaun (UP): An FIR was today lodged against a doctor for allegedly threatening a chief medical officer of dire consequences if he was not transferred to his preferred station, police said.

Doctor A K Tyagi, incharge of Ughaiti Primary Health Centre, allegedly threatened CMO Sukhvir Singh over phone on Saturday if he was not transferred to Bilsi, SSP Navneet Rana said. The FIR was lodged against Tyagi at Sadar police station after Singh`s complaint, he said.
