President Kovind Confers Padma Awards To Pratibha Ray, Neeraj Chopra, Pramod Bhagat Among Others

Classical singer Prabha Atre and former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Kalyan Singh (posthumous) were presented Padma Vibhushan; actor Victor Banerjee, scientist Sanjaya Rajaram (posthumous), author Pratibha Ray and Sanskrit scholar Acharya Vashishtha Tripathi were among those who were presented with the Padma Awards 2022 on Monday.

President Ram Nath Kovind conferred the Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri Awards for the year 2022 at the Civil Investiture ceremony II. The Civil Investiture Ceremony - I was held on March 21.
