In the night hours (around 11:30 pm), many places in the Ganjam district, including Berhampur, will record rainfall in the range of 24-50mm per hour.

Very heavy rainfall in the range of 30-40mm/hr will lash the Koraput district by around 2:30-3 am in the night today. Later heavy downpour is predicted in Malakngiri.

Heavy rainfall will continue in the districts till 7 am on Monday morning (Sept 27).

At around 7:30 hours today, the eye of cyclone Gulab is just 15-20km away. The landfall is taking place in Srikakulam district in Andhra Pradesh (near Sadhipeta village).
