The opening day collection of 1995 blockbuster reincarnation action drama Karan Arjun is reportedly between Rs 25 lakh- Rs 30 lakh. Well, after 30 years, the movie starring Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan in the lead roles along with Kajol, Mamta Kulkarni, Rakhee, and Amrish Puri, has successfully attracted the audience to the theatres. Produced and directed by Rakesh Roshan, the cult-action drama has witnessed a better reception. Certainly, fans are aware that superstar Hrithik Roshan worked as an assistant director in the movie, that brought two big stars together for the first time. Now, Duggu has shared some interesting anecdotes from the sets of Karan Arjun with Salman and Shah Rukh.
On Saturday, Hrithik shared two pictures from the sets of Karan Arjun in which he is seen posing with Karan and Arjun aka Salman and Shah Rukh.
Duggu's post read, "The Karan Arjun experience …Ha, I look like a young Kabir with Karan and Arjun." (sic)

Sharing the interesting anecdotes, the War 2 actor wrote, "As an assistant, I remember Minerva being the main theatre on release day. Me and Dad’s other assistant Anurag ( 2nd pic in the white sweatshirt)), screened the print before the release and we were all incredibly disappointed. The print looked dark and dull. We got the entire screen washed and as the dirt and grime dissolved into the large washcloth, we heard the manager say “आज १५ सालों के बाद यह स्क्रीन धुली है “ (sic)
Sharing another anecdote, he wrote, "Another fun fact, during the song bhangda paale, one late night, a more than merry team of Shahrukh and Salman decided to leave Sariska by car and drive to Delhi promising to be back by morning.I was flabbergasted and jumped ( literally ) on the bonnet of the car to stop them. The call time was 6am and I had to make sure my dad doesn’t lose the day. He didn’t. Watching Salman and Shahrukh act was a huge learning for me as a 17yr old. Best on set practical acting school ever." (sic)
Interestingly, Salman, Shah Rukh and Hrithik are a part of YRF's Spy Universe. While Salman plays the role of 'Tiger' from the Tiger franchise, SRK is the new entrant in the cinematic universe playing the role of Pathaan. Meanwhile, Hrithik, who plays the role of Kabir, is gearing up for his upcoming War 2. While reports have been abuzz about Pathaan 2 and Tiger Vs Pathaan, fans have pinned high hopes to see the iconic trio in a single frame.

Notably, Karan Arjun re-released in 1114 theatres in India, with a show count of 2208 nationwide and 250 theatres overseas. As per reports, Karan Arjun took the third biggest start for a re-release movie in 2024, after Tumbbad and Laila Majnu. The Salman and Shah Rukh-starrer's box office collection is similar to Veer Zaara and Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein. Well, the remastered version of Karan Arjun is expected to grow in the coming days and script a success story at the box office.
