Yash reveals his reason for doing Toxic; says, ‘I’m somebody who will risk it all and..

Sandalwood superstar Yash became a pan-India superstar with his movies KGF and KGF 2. And now fans are eagerly awaiting his upcoming release Toxic which will hit the theatres in April next year. Recently, Yash talked elaborately about his life, struggles, a bit about Toxic, and more on the sets of his movie during an interview with a leading media portal.

While he refused to share details about the importance of the set in Toxic, Yash did say that in the movie it will be quite spectacular and like a fairy tale. Talking about lying low for almost two years after the success of KGF 2, Yash said that they need to find the right script since it's business and he is getting paid for it. Importantly he added, “Basically I have immense value for audience’s money. So it’s my responsibility to find the right project. First I should be excited. I need to believe in it. “

According to him since a lot of money and energy is invested he believes one should have clarity and the right vision. When asked what made him choose Geetu Mohandas as his next director since she does not belong to mainstream cinema, Yash said that it was her vision and passion that made him say yes.

Revealing whether he discussed this project with others or did people close to him influenced his decision, Yash said, “It is very different. I don’t listen to anybody. I just listen to my heart.” He once again insisted that it was Mohandas’ passion and energy that made him give his nod to Toxic. Talking about taking risks after becoming so successful, Yash said, “I think that is the fun part of cinema. I do not belong to the category where I want to enjoy my success. I really enjoy trying to achieve something, trying to chase the unknown.”

“ It is mostly like Kaun Banega Crorepati thing where Bachchanji asks questions and when you reach a stage and then he will give you an option – You want to quit you can take this much amount of money or you want to go for the higher thing. You may lose everything. So I think life also asks you that kind of question every time,” he added. The superstar said that he is somebody who will not quit but risk it all to give something new to his audience.
