Nitesh Tiwari and Namit Malhotra's Ramayana is undoubtedly one of the most hyped movies. Cinephiles are super excited to see Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, Sunny Deol, Ravi Dubey and Sai Pallavi essaying Lord Rama, Demon King Ravana, Lord Hanuman, Lakshman and Devi Sita. Amid the elevated excitement for the movie, recently, reports were abuzz that Yash will have only 15 minutes of screentime in Ramayana: Part I. However, a latest report suggests that KFI's Rocking Star Yash will have a significant screen presence in the first instalment with Ranbir Kapoor.
Yash as Demon King Ravana to Have Full-Length Role!
According to an exclusive report by Pinkvilla, Yash will have a full-length role with Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi in Ramayana: Part I.
A close source to the development revealed to the entertainment portal that Yash kicked off shooting for the first instalment on April 30 and has shot for over 50 days. Further, the source also claimed that the KGF star's screentime in Part I will be around one hour.
The source was quoted as saying, "He has a screen time in excess of one hour in Ramayana: Part One, which acts as a build-up for battle royale for the second part, Ramayana: Part II.”
Furthermore, the source also revealed that after wrapping the first instalment, Tiwari and his team are gearing up to commence shooting for Ramayana: Part II in August. Reportedly, the team is currently busy with the editing and post-production of Ramayana: Part I. While the first part is scheduled for release during Diwali 2026, the makers have targets to lock a major chunk by Summer 2026.
