Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif were in a relationship a long time ago. Both of them have moved ahead in their lives and are living a happy marital life with their respective spouses. However, things were pretty bitter when the two separated and even today, Ranbir and Katrina are not open to working together (except one commercial).

While Ranbir Kapoor continued to work with his ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone despite their fallout and Katrina continued to enjoy a good friendship and professional association with her ex-boyfriend Salman Khan, Kats and Ranbir are still not on good terms. At least that is what it seems superficially.

And it suggests that both of them made a huge impact on each other’s lives. In a throwback interview, Ranbir Kapoor even admitted that at one point in his life, his Rajneeti co-star had become the most influential entity in his life apart from his parents. During an old interview with Rajeev Masand, the Animal actor discussed the very public breakup with Katrina Kaif and how there was a perception that he came out unaffected.

Ranbir said, “It is a bit tricky question to answer because no matter whatever I say on any platform I think it is grossly misconstrued. I know a lot of interpretations are taken of it. You see with my personal life over the years I have realized and it’s very dear to me. And especially what my relationship with Katrina was or what my relationship with Katrina was or is going to be. It is very dear to me.”

He continued saying, “It is because after my parents she has been the most influential, most motivational entity in my life. And I hold that very dear. So I do not want to say anything about it. There is no negativity, there is no sense of bitterness where that’s concern so there is nothing to talk about.” Ranbir Kapoor said that regarding whether he is affected by the breakup or not, there is no need that anyone should know about it.
